Welcome to WagWise ("we," "our," or "us"). Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information WagWise collects, how it's stored, and how you can control it when you use our mobile application and this website (collectively, the "Service").
WagWise offers a free, optional cloud account so your data is backed up and available if you switch devices. You can also use the full app in Guest Mode without creating an account — in that case your data stays on your device only, until (and unless) you choose to create an account, at which point everything you've already entered is carried over.
The app is offline-first: it works fully without an internet connection, and any changes made while offline sync to the cloud automatically the next time you're connected.

Account data is stored using Supabase, a third-party backend provider, in a Postgres database. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted using Row Level Security so that your data is isolated to your account — no other user can access it.
WagWise uses Sentry, a third-party crash-reporting service, to help us diagnose and fix bugs. When the app crashes or encounters an error, technical information — such as device and OS details and stack traces — is sent to Sentry. This is a separate third-party data processor from Supabase and does not include your business-record data.
WagWise is free to use for your first month. After that, continued use requires a paid subscription, currently £11.99 per month (with a locked-in Founding Member rate for early subscribers — see our Terms of Service for details). Subscriptions are billed and processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details — Apple and Google handle billing under their own privacy policies. This is separate from the "payment records" feature within the app, which simply lets you note down payments your own clients have made to you; that information is business-record data you enter yourself, as described above, and is not connected to your WagWise subscription billing in any way.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time from within the app, via Settings → Delete Account. This action is irreversible and removes your data from our cloud storage.
WagWise does not sell your data, and does not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

If you use your device's built-in backup service (such as iCloud on iOS or Google Drive on Android), locally cached WagWise data may be included in those backups. This is controlled entirely by your device settings and the respective platform's policies — WagWise has no involvement in or access to these backups.
WagWise is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platforms may independently collect certain information about your device and app usage (such as crash reports and download metrics) in accordance with their own privacy policies. This data is governed by Apple and Google respectively, and we do not receive or control it.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. It is intended to comply with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You may contact us at any time to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the app introduces new features that change how data is handled. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
